Got new TV installed.
40" Samsung something or other.
Samsung 1080p Flat-panel LCD HDTV.
Yeah.
There's different options for how you want the light-dark settings on the screen.
That's all I've managed to figure out about it. I'm afraid to play around with the remote because I'm afraid I'll break something.
The DVD player isn't working in conjunction with the new TV yet; the new set-up means that the connecting cord is too short, so sometime Mom has to go out and buy a longer cord to attach the DVD player to the TV.
Umm.
Pop-pop turned 88 this year.
And we had dinner at Aunt W's house.
With Chiquita. The dachshund princess of the house.
And Tori. The blonde lab visitor.
Who yawned in my face when I commented that she's lazy.
And, well.
Dega and I are going to see Milk this Friday. We're still trying to figure out the best showing to go to. Apparently they haven't posted Friday's show times yet.
So we wait. And keep in touch.
And I've decided after all that I do want the Black Jewels trilogy anthology. It'll make extra room on my shelves when I can get rid of the three books I have now.
And I wonder if the rest of Anne Rice's vampire books have been put into their own volumes?
Must check out B&N sometime.
In the meantime...
I'm not so sure I like this new layout.
I may keep playing around with different settings until I find something I like better.
