Well.
A lot's been going on lately.
Foremost on my mind: the Philly Flower show. I went this year, for the first time ever.
Wow.
I took well over a hundred pictures, if not over two hundred. I'll be posting some here and there as time goes by.
Um.
Digital camera for my bday. That's what I used to take the pictures. No way I could have afforded all that film!

My craft job? Erg.
First Dan left, then Jimms. Mercy and Erica up and quit, now Trish wants to quit too. The only ones who aren't quitting are the high school kids.
This is all made more significant by the fact that I've been looking around at floral design schools. All of them? Outside of daily commute distance. Meaning whatever I choose, I'll need to request a transfer at work, so I can keep working while I'm away. But there's the very real possibility that I may be told to just quit and reapply at the store I need to go to.
So.. whole bunch of co-workers quitting.
Possibility that I may need to quit anyway.
Sign?
Soon's I refresh my deck, I'll have to do a career reading to see what choices I could take.

In the meantime, my cousin E wants me to work with her. Her line of reasoning being that we're both black sheep in our own way and very much creative and in-tune with emotions, hence we could work well together.
I'm gonna give it a shot and see where it goes.

Went to B&N a couple days ago, picked up Ill Wind, first book of the Weather Warden series by Rachel Caine.
Finished it last night.
Must get the rest of the series.

Almost finished my black bag. Finally settled on a zipper closure. But still debating with myself.
I. How to put it together?
a. Seam the edges, then sew in the lining?
b. Just sew it all together in one shot?
c. How to organize the pockets and dividing spaces for the (much-needed) organization of essential items like wallet, phone and keys, but still leave space to dump large objects when I go shopping?
II. How to do the strap?
a. Clasps at both ends for easy detachment when I please?
1) Knit up a tube and slip a chain through it?
2) Sew up a strip of cloth and slip a chain through it?
b. Strap sewn into the bag?
